Heartsaver or BLS? Which should I choose?
Are you looking to go into the medical field? If so, you should consider the BLS for Providers Certification, as this is the most wanted credential for entry into the majority of local medical programs. Are you looking to work in a day care, with children in a school, or at a church -in a non-medical facility or just want to know how to act in an emergency? If this is you, then consider the Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid Certification course - also known as the Heartsaver Total course. All courses use the American Heart Association for guidance and resources. Contact us for skill out information and skills only certification needs.
About Nose To Toes CPR
When performing CPR, blood carrying life-sustaining oxygen is being circulated through the system. To be effective, this blood needs to circulate from the person’s NOSE to their TOES. That’s why we pump at a minimum rate of 100 beats per minute and a depth of two inches or 1/3 of the chest!
